I get asked on a weekly, daily, and hourly basis: “Can you show us how you tied your hijab/hoojab?” I typically wear the same style day in and day out with only slight variations. I will walk you through what I do and how variations on one method can change the whole look.
These styles may all look different, but they are the same method with slight tweaks and added accessories. This Hoojab tutorial is really simple with only a few basic steps.
Things you will need:
A Hoojab. (look at the post here to find the design that suits you)
Slides/Bobbie Pins (2)
Pins (as many as needed)
Note: Choose what ever color/pattern hoojab you want to. This is just a guide.
Lets start! Secure your underscarf. This is the foundation. The looser it is the more your style will slide around.
I let the remaining bit hang off the back. This will give you coverage in the back. Take the remaining length around the other side of your face. You can control the coverage along your chest by letting the front hang a bit more or less. Depending on your tastes.
Here is a look at the back coverage.
