So many of my viewers ask what I use on my skin. THIS IS IT!
I have been using this skin care treatment for over a year. I did an entire video about this… but who doesn’t love a rave in blog form?!?
This Oil Cleansing Method has helped with my skin tone, redness, acne, black heads, and so much more. I couldn’t believe the amount of build up my skin accumulates throughout the day.
The first oil you must use is castor oil. You can find this at any drug store, or online. Castor oil has amazing cleansing, healing, and inflammatory properties. You will be astounded by how much this beneficial oil will help your skin. Castor oil is generally thick and a little goes a long way. That is why you need to cut the castor oil with another oil. My personal favourite is olive oil. We all know how amazing olive oil is for your face. The other oil you use is entirely your choice, whatever works best with your skin is what I suggest you using!!!!

I started out with a 50/50 split of the oils. 1Tbs of Castor Oil and 1 Tbs of Olive Oil. This was too much for my skin. It was too drying. I then worked the mixture a little to a 1 part Castor Oil to 2 parts Olive Oil. This was what worked best for me since my skin is on the oily side. If you have dry skin I would change the recipe to 1 part Castor Oil to 9 parts Olive Oil. This all depends on how your skin works with the combination.

I rub a small amount of the mixture on my face. Massage it into your skin. Work out all the impurities. This may take up to a few min. Take a hot washcloth (as hot as you can handle) and gently rub off the oil. Repeat as necessary.

I store my mixture in a clean pump bottle. I picked it up at a local drug store. I would recommend that you do this twice a day and finish off with either a dab of the oil or your favourite moisturiser.

I saw changes within a week and a totally new face within a fortnight. Comment below to let me know how you get on with it.

I talked my mom into a facial tonight that was inspired completely by your posts, both here and on youtube. First, oatmeal mask. We left it on for five minutes then wet it a little and rubbed it in like a scrub before washing it off. Still don’t think I have the portion right on the oatmeal, had a hard time getting it to stick to my face! Then we did the oil mixture and hot towels. And we finished with the rose water and glycerin mixture with lemon juice. My face already feels super soft and comfy! I have really dry skin but with break outs and nothing has ever really worked for me. We will see if the oils and rose water help but I have a good feeling about this!
