Hi lovelies,

I hope you are all having a good day so far. Today, I wanted to share some gems of advice about how we can all save some of our hard earned cash. These tips have not been gathered from any professional recommendations, these are simply derived from my own experience, so I hope you find them useful.

  1. Sign up to newsletters for your favourite brands

Ladies, if we are not signed up to newsletters, we are missing offers and deals that are not necessarily available to all customers. Newsletters are great, for announcement of flash sales, vouchers, offers including free delivery, and announcements of new products. I’m signed up to Oasis, Warehouse and even Holland & Barretts – we are going to buy our favourite products anyway, we might as well save some money on them.

Have you signed up to the Pearl Daisy newsletter? This is a great way to hear about our Hoojab, clothing and accessories offers before stocks run out. Also if you recommend a friend to sign up, we have a reward scheme with benefits for both of you! Click here for more details and to sign up.

  1. Follow your favourite brands on their social media pages

Similar to the newsletter, this way you will have access to instant information about your favourite brand’s products and possible new releases. The social media sites also post exclusive offers and codes that can be used for a limited time period, so you can be on the look out for these.

If you are following me, on my Pearl Daisy Facebook page, Instagram (@amenaofficial), Twitter (@amenaofficial), you will have the details about the events I am attending, and have a chance to buy some of our exclusive products.

If you are following my other 2 companies – @lashionery and @arderecosmetics, you will see that we have giveaways and competitions – so you can get your hands on the luxurious cosmetics.

In Leicester we have an annual ‘students night’, where the shops in the Highcross shopping centre offer students extra discounts and offers. The vibe during the evening is fun and energetic, but wear comfy shoes as you will have to line up outside popular shops.

Another event that my mother always attends is the ‘Fenwicks – 20% off everything’ evenings. She collects the newspaper clippings and gets the invitation for this exclusive event; the savings are great so I give her my long shopping list too!

With ‘Black Friday’ approaching, watch this space for more news about Pearl Daisy offers…

The holiday season is the perfect time to buy that fragrance or lipstick you’ve had your eye on for the last few months. The fragrance companies bring out special gift boxes that are more value for money and tend to include the scent and a bonus showergel or body lotion – this way you can layer up on the gorgeous aromas.

Designer makeup brands including Dior, Clarins, Lancome will also have special gifts if 2 or more of their products are bought. This usually includes travel sized goodies from their collection and a very handy makeup bag – lets face it, we can never have enough makeup bags!

Finally, I will recommend to you, the TV channel QVC. I’m sure you have all come across this shopping channel in one form or another, so keep an eye out for some money saving deals from this company. They have a daily offer named, ‘Today’s Special Value’ and it is something I check regularly – I particularly look out for TSVs on luxury brands such as Decleor, L’occitane, Liz Earle, Leighton Denny etc and the savings certainly add up.

This is by no means an exhaustive list; so feel free to share your own tips and advice with us all!
